Hi, I'm Veronica!

Four years ago Julien and I both graduated with our Master’s Degrees. After a lot of hard work, we settled into our corporate jobs, bought a house, and started the life we’d always dreamed of.

But it didn’t take long to become bored with the routine and we felt like we needed an adventure.

I watched my vacation days accumulate and spent hours on Instagram looking at beautiful travel destinations – only to realize that they were out of reach. 

– How could we travel to Europe whenever we wanted, and still keep our jobs?

– How could we afford to pay for expensive plane tickets and our mortgage, too?

– How could I find the time to plan all of this when I’m already overworked?

But I refused to give up and started searching for a way. 

Most of what I found were articles on how to quit your job to travel the world, how to become a digital nomad, and how to work abroad as an “expat.”

Not exactly what I was looking for.

I loved my job, my house, my dog. And I wasn’t going to give it all up to go on vacation.
